Amanda L Koble
Amanda L. Koble was born in Fargo, North Dakota. She graduated from Maple Grove High School and attended Hamline University for her undergraduate degree. At Hamline she was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship. She received a B.A. in Legal Studies and Psychology.
In 2006, Amanda obtained her juris doctorate from Hamline Law School. While in law school, she had the opportunity to work as a law clerk for the Tenth District Public Defenders’ Office where she represented juveniles during criminal and probation violation hearings and families involved in child protection proceedings.
Amanda started practicing as an attorney with a general practice law firm in Isanti County. She represented the community as a city attorney and assisted private clients in the areas of estate planning, family law, and criminal defense.
Amanda was later employed by Legal Assistance in Dakota County, an organization that provides low income persons with attorneys for representation during family law proceedings. While in Dakota County, Amanda had the opportunity to represent hundreds of clients through contested trials and hearings in various areas of law, including child custody, custody, divorce, and domestic violence. She assisted people involved in highly emotional and complicated situations and was able to fight to provide them with a better future. She was involved in one of the most contested family law cases in Dakota County’s recent history and effectively helped a single mother protect her children from a highly influential and violent predator. She believes in fighting for her clients and has brought many difficult cases to a successful end.
In 2010, Amanda joined Johnson, Larson, Peterson & Halvorson, P.A.
